Who operates the app
JLPT Practice is operated by Rintaro Hasegawa. This policy covers the iOS app and its support website. Updated: 2026-10-10. Contact: jlptjapan3@gmail.com.
Learning data stays on your device
Your answers, mistakes, paused lessons, daily activity, target level, goal, and language preference are stored on your device. The app does not send this information to us. It has no account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or tracking.
Backups and deletion
Your device's backup settings may include app data in an Apple or computer backup. The app does not provide its own cloud sync. Deleting the app removes its local data. Manage any separate backups through Apple or your backup provider.
When you contact support
If you email jlptjapan3@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and investigate reported issues. Send only information relevant to your request. We keep correspondence only as long as needed for support and any applicable recordkeeping obligations. You can request deletion by emailing us.
Support website
The support website is designed for hosting on Cloudflare Pages. When hosted there, Cloudflare processes technical request data, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. We do not add advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies. Cloudflare explains its handling of data at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
Apple services
Apple handles App Store downloads and any device diagnostics you choose to share through your system settings under Apple's own privacy policy. The app does not add a separate crash reporting service.
Changes and questions
If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated. For privacy questions or requests about support correspondence, email jlptjapan3@gmail.com.
